The Word Indie Pop

The word “Indie Pop” sucks and anyone who classifys themselves as that probably plays in a band that sounds like an unsarcastic Pavement. That really sucks. You know who you are. Quit wasting everyone’s time at the Silverlake Lounge and Spaceland. Bottom line if you call yourself Indie you suck.

There’s more to indiepop than Pavement (?), who never were indiepop anyway. Maybe you have something against the word indie, but that’s probably just a semanthics issue.
